In accordance with the Datasync Daylight Savings Plan currently in effect, the usage counter will only count one-half of your time online between midnight and noon Central Time and all of your time online between noon and midnight. This is the total shown on your Statement of Account.

On this form, however, you may check the Show all counts box and see an extra two lines of data: your Prime (12pm - 12am) time and Non-prime (12am - 12pm) totals for the selected billing cycle.

Here's how to find out how much time you're spent online during your current billing cycle or previous cycles up to six months ago. Report includes start and end dates of the selected billing cycle.

If you select the Check for concurrent usage box in the form, any overlapping dialup sessions in excess of your subscription (i.e. one for a regular dialup account, two for a Dual Port account) will be shown as well as the total excess concurrent usage. Per Datasync Terms of Service, this is billed at $2.00/hour. If you see this happening and don't know who the other dialup user is, please change your password immediately.

Notes about the Usage Counter

• If you mave many dialup sessions, the report may take several minutes to generate.
• Secondary accounts are all lumped together, since they're billed together. There's no way to separate them.
• If you login to Datasync via telnet, that time isn't counted. Only connections via our modem pools.
• The records are updated once per day, in the early morning. This means time you've spent online today won't show up until tomorrow.
• If you see anything that doesn't look right, please mail us.
