Getting Started with FrontPage 95 or 97

Step One:
Open Microsoft Frontpage on your computer by clicking Start->Programs->Microsoft Frontpage

Step Two:
Once FrontPage opens up you will see the FrontPage Explorer open with the window below asking for your input. Choose the option "Open Existing FrontPage Web", then click "OK"

Step Three:
The window below will appear and you will need to type the "Web Server or File Location" in the space provided then click "List Webs".

Step Four:
After clicking the "List Webs" button you will be presented with a list of available webs to edit. Scroll down until you locate your username, highlight it, and then click "OK" to open your web. You will not be able to open anyone else's web and vice versa.

We will use the user "jqpublic" as an example.

Step Five:
After Clicking "OK" you will be prompted to enter your username and password. Without this you WILL NOT be able to access your web.

*If you receive an "NTLM: authentication" error, please see the NTLM help page.

Step Six:
Once your web completes loading you will be able to add content to your site.
