Dialup 64k ISDN is available from Datasync using your current PPP account. Use an ISDN terminal adapter (modem) on an ISDN line provided from BellSouth and dial into one of the Datasync ISDN locations. Login is the same as your normal PPP or shell login. You will get over 2 times the speed with this connection.

BellSouth pricing update: BellSouth is now metering it's ISDN service. You get 200 or 320 hours free depending on the selected plan, then it is billed at .01/minute. This is per B channel so if you connect at 128k, thus using two B channels, you would have 100 or 160 hours free, then a 2 cent/minute charge. Note: BellSouth has indicated that users under the 'old' ISDN billing will be 'grandfathered' and will not be charged the new billing rates.

Datasync ISDN locations and numbers.

Special pricing for 128k ISDN: 128k ISDN requires that you bond both B channels and dial into Datasync on two lines. This requires a special account permiting access to 2 ports at the same time.

Pricing for 128k dialup ISDN service:

• Virtually Unlimited - 250 hour account: $36.91/month

Also note: BellSouth will charge $108.00 or more in excess usage if you use 250 hours of 128K service.

Notice! BellSouth is now metering their ISDN service. With your ISDN line you get 320 free hours (single B channel) of use per month. After that you will be billed .01/min. Usage is based on a single B channel. What this means for dedicated users at 128k (2 B channels) is that it will cost you approx $700.00 in addition to your basic service charge. For users desiring dedicated service we suggest using our Frame Relay service.
