Born: December 18, 1988 at the Naval Hospital, Agana, Guam.
Parents: Richard H. and Cynthia (née Cyr) Bouchard.
Siblings: Cerise E. (b. 1979) and Mireille M. (b. 1981).

At birth Maia was 2 lbs and 13 oz. She was not premature, but full-term. 1990 Family moves to Pecan Drive, Long Beach, MS. 1990-92 Maia attends Rainbow Daycare in Long Beach. 1992-2000 Maia attends St. Thomas School in Long Beach. 1993 Family moves to Parkwood Drive, Long Beach. 1994 Maia plays youth soccer for the Garden Park Strikers. 1995 Maia crowned Queen of the Krewe of Wrecks. Rides in the Long Beach Mardi Gras parade. She plays for Long Beach Tee Ball league team - The Braves. 1996-2000 Maia studies Shotokan Karate at Fisher's Karate Institute, Pineville Rd, Long Beach. 1998 Maia accompanies Tommy the Tiger in Long Beach Mardi Gras Parade. Receives Brown Belt and in December, the Red Belt. She becomes an altar server at St. Thomas Parish. 1999-2000 Maia plays guard for Long Beach Girls Recreation League Basketball sponsored by Jerry's Lawn Mowers. 2000 Earns her Junior Black Belt. Family moves to Rhode Island. |
In addition to karate, Maia likes to play basketball, baseball and create computer art. Her art works include Snow, Snowman, Storm and Nice Day.
Her favorite movies are all the Three Ninjas's movies.
