Aerographer's Mate "A" and "C" Schools
October 1972 - April 1973

Aerographer's Mates rating (AG) were the weather and oceanography guys. "A" and "C" schools were located at NTTC Lakerhurst, NJ. They later moved to Chanute AFB, IL and finally to Naval Technical Training Unit Keesler AFB, MS. "A" school was the basic observers course. The "C" school was for those destined for upper air stations and taught rawinsonde operations. I believe the rawinsonde schools no longer exist.
