Introducing The Gang (in no particular order)....
Those listed on this page belong to the current core group of
riders who show up for rides as often as possible (and also
constantly keep in touch). Anyone who hasn't ridden
and/or hasn't been heard from in a while will be removed.
Jim "Scarface" Jackson
Age: 41
Bike: 1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100
Crashes: 1
Most prolific rider of the group. Jim is our resident point-man when-
ever Rick's outta town. He is a helluva rider and can make that ZRX do things
it isn't supposed to do. Jim's been our "Wheelie King" but lately there
have been attempts to de-throne him. Jim recently put a new engine in
his ZRX and is working towards 30K miles on that bugger...what a rider, eh?

David "Super Dave" Graham

1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100
Crashes: 1
Dave is the most domesticated
member of the gang. He likes making it back home early to enjoy family life. As a result, his
bike is usually all sparkly clean and has only recently hit 10K on the odoemeter.
Dave is so cheap, he has the only stock ZRX1100 known to exist.
He keeps the netting on his seat so he can tell the difference between his bike and Jim's.
Dave is also the webmaster of this site (so
send the hate mail to him).

Jeff is a straightforward kinda guy who loves to ride. Period.
Always gotta smile on his face and can be depended upon to ride good and hard -
but we know that deep down inside of him is a hooligan racer waiting
to bust out and even crash through the riders up ahead of him, if necessary.
And with that Gixxer 1000...HE CAN DO IT! Party On, Jeff!

Suzanne Bailey

2001 Honda CBR929
Crashes: 1
Suz is one of several girls in the group. She's been riding for
20 yrs and she traded in her Ducati 900SS for a 929. Let's hope
she doesn't do to her 929 what she did to that poor Ducati.
Oh you don't know what happened? (well you need to check out
the Crash Hall of Fame for that story! Suz runs 2 club pages for

Mark "Cocky" Cochran

2000 Honda CBR 929
Crashes: 0
We just made-up that nickname (we won't tell you what his real
nickname is). Mark and his girlfriend Suzanne both have 929's - which is.
definitely a definitive sportbike that turns our heads every time.
Mark's a cool guy to hang out with and he always has a smile to offer.
Just remember this - don't get him and that 929 riled-up!

Tam is another one of our riders who happens to be a girl.
Don't take her lightly...she used to be a jet ski racer (and a bullrider).
She wonders why chicks wave seductively at her sometimes when she rides...

Rick "The Human GPS" Morgan
Age: Real Old

Rick gets his nickname cause he leads us on rides way out
into the booneys but Rick always knows where we are.
Rick is probably our best rider. The scrapes on his knee pucks are actually
from leaning way over in the twisties - if you don't believe it, then just try to stay up with him.

Dick "No Tricks" Sirginson

2001 Triumph Sprint ST
Crashes: 1
Dick and his Triumph can always be counted on...Dick has
a good clean riding style (no wheelies or tricks) and he's fun
to ride with him. Dick's a charter member of the Triumph "Old Guys" group
of which Ralph and Eric are also members. Even though Dick sports grey hair,
he sure looks cool in his Vanson leathers while on his Triumph!

Kurt "Racer-X" Martinsen

2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200
Crashes: 0
Kurt is one of the "guys from Mobile" (AL). When he rides over to
meet us, he's already been on the road almost an hour. Kurt is our "mileage man" (next to Jim!)...
he's "iron butted" it all the way to Seattle and Mexico on his ZREX twice. His record is
an 1850 mile trip from Death Valley CA to Pine Bluff AR in one sitting.
Kurt has ridden the most miles of any of us - oh, the stories he can tell!!!

Curt "Codeman" Wicker

Crashes: 1
Curt has "the bike" for 2001 and man is it fine! Just hope the
cops don't end up having a "field day" on him when he blows past. Curt is
working on 3rd gear wheelies these days and hell, maybe he'll be able to
out-run them on that rear wheel! Curt is sometimes a bit brazen, but then,
you would be too if you owned the hottest bike in town.

"Eric The Red" Luber

2000 Triumph Daytona

Time now to introduce Eric and his red Daytona. Eric is a
guy you can definitely count on to ride safely. He does cut loose every
now and then...but he's normally a pretty dependable rider - which is good.
However, he seems to like riding alone quite often...and that makes us
wonder whether or not he really likes us as much as we think he should.

1999 Triumph Adventurer

Eagle owns a cruiser but he hangs with the sportbikers and then some!
No matter how fast the "point position" riders go...Eagle is only a few
minutes behind (OK...maybe just a bit longer than a few minutes).
But the point is, Eagle is one dedicated rider cause he keeps on hangin with us
and you just gotta admit it's "hat's off" to a guy like Eagle.
(He can get triple digits outta that Adventurer, too!)

Joe "Rocket" Mitchell

1998 Suzuki TL1000

Joe lives about 35 miles north of here but he and
that TL1000 make an effort to ride with us as often as he can. He really gets noticed on that TL now
that he has leopard skin on it! Joe and his bike got a little whacked up at
last year up at Red Bluff but he's still in the saddle! Way to go, Joe!

Michelle "Moto Girl" McBride

Michelle is yet another girl-biker in our gang. We'll let her tell it:
"I started out riding dirt bikes at age 10, and got into riding
sportbikes only a few years ago. I'm a mild-mannered corporate gal by
day and a "moto-hooligan" by night! When the weekend comes, you can
always find me out on the twisties "chasing the boys"! I'm always striving
to ride better and learn from the "ole pros" ...I'll catch 'em one of these days I know it!"
We say: Yeah ya right! (hey wait a minute...is she callin' us pros "OLD"?)

Ronald "Drake" Coleman

Drake is one of our riders that we see a lot at Bike Night and in the
city. We just have to figure out how to get him to ride during our big weekend
rides we take into the country twisties. Drake has just finished working on this R1 you see here and
he's ready to take on the Gixxer 1000's!!!

James is another Mobile Alabama guy. Like Eagle,
James isn't really interested in riding triple digits into the curves but just
really enjoys riding his bike. However, with only 4000 miles on the odometer
(last time we looked), we think he should ride with us more often!
