Trails Cat Fanciers Show, Jackson MS in August 1999, he received his "six
winners ribbons".
That was all I was expecting.
However, much to my surprise,
Charlie also finaled in three of the six rings:
6th Best Longhair Specialty
Premier under Norman Auspitz,
2nd Best Longhair Specialty
Premier under Pam Moser, and
4th Best Allbreed Premier
under Bob Zenda!

We all learned how to count backwards
in Spanish for this final.
Charlie was chosen as Best Maine Coon
Alter and 4th Best Allbreed Alter in this ring
In the last three months of 1999, I showed Charlie in three TICA shows and at present he has earned the title of Double Grand Champion Alter!
Carlos Arrieta named Charlie "Best Maine Coon Alter" and placed him 4th Best Allbreed Alter in the 1999 International TICA Annual Show in Jackson MS. What a THRILL for my first TICA show!
He finaled in five more rings at the TICA show in Lafayette LA, earning his GCA in two shows with lots of "extra points" towards his next title.
Finaling at the Bayou State Maine Coon Cat Club TICA Show in New Orleans LA cinched his Double Grand Champion Alter.
