This is one of the town's beaches, Front Beach. This home is on another beach, East Beach. Although hard to see, Spanish Moss, actually an epiphyte, hangs from the crepe myrtle and the live oak trees in this picture.
Gulf Coast Research Lab is also on East Beach.  It is an important Marine Resources research facility, part of the University of Southern Mississippi. This is a view of the Ocean Springs harbor showing some of the shrimping vessels that work the Gulf of Mexico. Here's another view of the harbor showing some of the many pleasure vessels in the area.
This is one of the pottery sheds where Shearwater pottery is made.  Walter Anderson, the famous painter from Ocean Springs, worked in this family business. This is the old O'Keefe home, later a restaurant, and now restored. This is the restored O'Keefe livery stable and undertaker's location.
This is the old Anderson home, now used as part of the the family business.  The Shearwater Pottery showroom is to the right, indicated by the sign. This is one of the many new subdivisions springing up around town. This is another of the newer subdivisions.
