- GCS == Type of Geek: Computer Science, by both education and
work experience.
- d- == Dress: T-shirt and jeans. I have tie but it's only for
weddings and funerals.
- s+:+ == Shape: I'm a little taller (6'0") and rounder (235#)
than most. Excessive weightlifting and beer drinking, not at the
same time of course, are both to blame.

- a == Age: 30-39. Thankfully I don't have to change this one
again until 2007.
- C+++ == Computers: Yes, I spend most of my life in front of
the computer.
- UL++++$ == Unix: I keep Linux systems running as part of my
job.
- P+++ == Perl: I find myself doing less and less C these days.
- L++++(++) == Linux: I run Linux on my home box 99% of the
time. It will be 100% if they ever come out with a Linux version
of Acrophobia.
- E == Emacs: My preferred editor, but I avoid all that extra
junk built into it. MicroEmacs would be all I need.
- W- == World Wide Web: It's useful. But it's done a lot more
harm than good. The Internet used to be pretty well idiot-free.
- N+++ == Usenet News: What, no N++++ for running a Usenet news
server? How about two of them?
- !o == Usenet Oracle: No time for that.
- K == Kibo: I know who he is, but that's about it.
- w(--) == MS Windows: Ok, so I use it from time to time. But
it's still crap.
- !O == OS/2: Never tried it.
- M- == Macs: Not much use to me without a command prompt.
- V-- == VMS: Run, run away!
- PS+ == Politics: To each their own. Don't tell me how to
run my life.
- PE++ == Politics & Economy: Keep your tax-grubbing hands away
from my pocketbook.
- Y+ == Politics & Internet: Keep your censoring hands away from
the Net too.
- PGP- == Pretty Good Privacy: It's a Good Thing, but I'm not going
to put anything I want to hide on the Net anyway.
- t+ == Star Trek: Television's greatest contribution to society.
- !5 == Babylon 5: I'm never at home during prime time.
- X+ == X Files: TV worth watching.
- R == Role Playing: Enjoy it, but had a lot more time for that
sort of thing when I was much younger.
- tv- == TV: CNN, ESPN, CNBC, The Weather Channel, Star Trek,
and any British comedy that comes across Mississippi ETV are about
all that catches my eye.
- b+ == Books: Love to read, but haven't the time. (This seems to
be a common theme doesn't it?)
- DI+ == Dilbert: Dilbert rules.
- D+ == Doom: Fun stuff. Refer to common theme above.
- G == The Geek Code: I took the time to format this page, no?
- e+++ == Education: Got through the Masters level then called
it quits.
- h+ == Housing: I have my own place, but like I said it's out
in the sticks so visitors are few and far between. Good in a way,
I don't have to clean house so often.
- r++ == Relationships: I'm getting better at this.
- y+ == Male (duh), not a virgin (duh).
