I have been interested in meteorology as long as I can remember.
Tropical weather especially...if there's a hurricane even thinking
about threatening the Gulf Coast, you'll probably find me in #weather
on Undernet.
Sports links
I live and breathe college football in fall. And, since the Haslett/Mueller
era began in 2000, pro football too -- the Saints are the only NFL team I
could ever think about rooting for, and now there *is* something to
cheer about. Glory hallelujah!
Radio Links
Amateur and shortwave radio have been a big part of my life for, well,
most all of it. I don't have much in the way of equipment or antennas
at the moment, but if you listen real hard you will hear WQ5L in most
any major CW contest, and even in a DX pileup sometimes. I can also
sometimes be found contesting from the much-louder station of N5FG
under that call or K5MDX.
