CM-2000

The Wycom CM-2000 is the solution for all laser applications and is the next generation check signing system. As our newest product, it is the latest in electronic check signing technology. It interfaces easily between your computer and printer to allow for one-step check processing. The CM-2000 offers great flexibility. It is compatible with dot matrix and laser printers, and works with preprinted check stock or blank check stock. It interfaces easily with your existing hardware and software applications.

The "intelligent" CM-2000 unit will keep the control of check disbursement where it belongs, in your hands.
It's as Easy as Turning a Key. Wycom's CM-Series computerized check-signing systems provide more security than hand signing checks.

The CM-2000:

  • reads a check's dollar amount
  • if greater than the authorized limit it will not print the signatures
  • has non resettable counters to keep an accurate tally of checks
  • processed print check information at the same time they affix
  • authorized signature can be "locked out" to prevent unauthorized signing of checks

Security:

Each Wycom CM-Series computerized check-signing unit: has two different keys (similar to safety deposit boxes) has signature authority
limits by check dollar amount, and can produce dual signatures or single signatures will only sign a check if:

  • a transaction is recorded in the computer
  • the computer acknowledges and processes the transaction
  • the check amount is less than the authorized-signature limit

The CM-2000 operates as an external peripheral that requires no
computer hardware or software changes. Compatible with almost any
printer, laser or dot matrix.
