(SIR-C/X-SAR) onboard Space Shuttle Endeavour on October 9, 1994.
See NASA's webpage Mississippi River for more information about the image. On the image, state boundaries are marked in white. Note that in places the river has migrated away from the boundaries, so that portions of the states are seemingly on the wrong sides of the river.
